PureVPN's WireGuard support has been improved, the app interfaces have been simplified, and some small but welcome modifications have been introduced. Pricing starts at $10.95 a month, which is little higher than average.
At $3.24 per month, the annual plan appears to be a decent deal, especially because it covers up to ten family members. However, this is due in part to a one-time discount, and it renews at $4.49.
A two-year special package costs $1.99 per month. That's a good deal, but it also renews at $4.49 each month for the year.
The PureVPN website also offered us a five-year contract for only $1.49 per month, which wasn't shown on the standard pricing page. This undercuts almost everyone else, though Ivacy's current five-year price of $1.19 per month is much better.
But this isn't just about the big ideas. PureVPN offers a number of add-ons.
At $2.99 per month for addresses in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, Germany, Malta, and Australia, dedicated IPs appear to be a good offer. Others, such as Private Internet Access, NordVPN, Astrill, and others, charge between $4 and $5 per month, sometimes more.
For $0.99 per month, you can add port forwarding, or for $3.49, you may add a dedicated IP with port forwarding.
DDoS protection is also available, which is useful for gamers. It's only $3.99 per month, yet most suppliers don't even provide it.

Performance
Several performance testing sites and services (SpeedTest's website and command line software, TestMy.net, Netflix's Fast.com, and others) were used to measure PureVPN speeds from US and UK locations. We verify each site's download speeds at least five times, then check again using a different protocol, before repeating the process in the evening.
OpenVPN speeds were in the middle of the pack, averaging 180-190Mbps in the US and 250-260Mbps in the UK. That's better than some - Surfshark didn't exceed 200Mbps in our most recent OpenVPN speed test (albeit its WireGuard speed was four times faster), but CyberGhost, Hide.me, and Mullvad have all recently surpassed 400Mbps.
It was a completely different story when we used PureVPN's WireGuard connections. The service hit 460Mbps in the UK and 750-840Mbps in the US this time, putting it in the top ten of our performance statistics. (The current speed leader is TorGuard's 950Mbps.)
