The goal of OpenAI is to make sure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits everyone. These are extremely autonomous systems that outperform humans at the majority of economically significant tasks. While we will work to create a safe and useful AGI, we will also regard it as a success if others are able to accomplish the same.
Any language task, such as content creation, sentiment analysis, and summarization, can be carried out using our API. You can use a few examples or describe your task in English. You can access our ever-improving AI technology with a straightforward integration. You can learn how to integrate with the API by looking at these sample completions.

Pros
At previous companies, I have created some incredible teams, but OpenAI raises the talent bar significantly!
Everyone on our team, including the researchers, engineers, and non-technical team members, works tirelessly to achieve our goal of delivering secure artificial general intelligence. The new office is gorgeous! Compared to Glassdoor's incomplete/false data, compensation is MUCH higher. I'm relieved I didn't look there first before applying ;-)
Everyone at the company is only a Slack message or lunch table away, and collaboration is essential.
With such productive, motivated teammates, I worried that there might not be a good work-life balance. However, on the whole, weekends and evenings are respected, and it seems like everyone understands that they work best when well-rested and refueled. The best "Pro" is actually realizing that you are a part of such a vital mission.
Cons
This is a classic example of a "Con" that is actually a "Pro," but because the talent bar is so high, recruiting is more difficult. When candidates received "yes" from other interview processes, I had to tell them "no." When someone interviews at six different companies, receives five job offers, and the company they really want to work for says "not quite," this can occasionally be awkward.
